Bays Brown

Starting at from The Langdale Estate, this route entails a gentle loop around the surrounding areas of the Estate. Take it easy and simply enjoy the beautiful Lake District scenery.

Langdale Half Marathon

This is the Langdale Half Marathon route which takes place each year and while the distance is standard the hills are not. Leaving Langdale the route meanders to the end of the valley and up Blea tarn Hill. There is relatively little flat running after that with two steep climbs.

Little Langdale & Slater’s Bridge

Picture-perfect from every direction, this route is the ideal combination of breathtaking views and well, breathtaking exercise. Including hills, rough tracks and woodland, it’s not one for the faint-hearted but it is sure worth it.

Loughrigg Tarn

One of the most idyllic locations, Loughrigg Tarn is worth a visit at any time. With uninterrupted views of the tarn, and a backdrop of the Langdale Pikes, you’ll completely forget that you’re even running.
