After twenty years as an outdoor instructor working in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, I (Liam) established Wild Chapters to offer person-centred bespoke adventures in the Lake District, which is both my home and my working environment.

Wild Chapters work with families and individuals, small groups as well as organisations and sometimes their dogs to provide single or multi-day experiences.

These experiences can include climbing and abseiling, mountain experiences, low-level walks, rock scrambling, coastal scrambling, ghyll-scrambling, bushcraft, paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking, open-water and wild swimming as well as cold-water immersion experiences. Often the adventures are in combination to provide a wonderful Wild Chapter.  We can facilitate self-led experiences, hire equipment and are happy to guide you at any time of the day or night!
